Calvary Chapel Global Missions Conference
Frequently Asked Questions
WHO CAN ATTEND?
The Calvary Chapel Missions Conference is open to anyone currently on the mission field, praying about going out on mission, domestic pastors/leaders involved in missions work, and those who support missions activities worldwide.
WHEN AND WHERE CAN I CHECK IN?
Registration runs from 10 AM to Noon Monday in the hospitality room (near the main lobby/dining hall). For those arriving Monday evening (and later during the week), you will be able to check in at the main conference center lobby.
CAN I JUST COME FOR THE DAY AND NOT THE WHOLE WEEK?
Yes, we offer a day rate for those interested in coming just for a day or two. It includes access to the conference and all the meals. Visit the registration page for details on purchasing a day pass.
CAN I STAY OFF CAMPUS BUT STILL PARTICIPATE IN EVERYTHING ELSE?
There is a conference only rate which allows you to attend all the sessions and workshops without having to stay on campus or partake in any of the meals. Go to the registration page for more details.
WILL THERE BE A PROGRAM FOR MY KIDS DURING THE SESSIONS?
For all conferees who have registered for the full conference, childcare will again be provided thanks to the Children’s Ministry staff of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. Their program covers children from newborn to 11 years old. (There is a separate program for older kids.) Unfortunately, only children of conferees who have registered for the full conference are able to utilize the program.
I HAVE TEENS. WILL THERE BE ACTIVITIES FOR THEM?
Yes. On The Edge is a youth discipleship ministry of Murrieta Hot Springs Christian Conference Center. This year during our Calvary Chapel Missions Conference, On The Edge (OTE) will be hosting worship, sessions, games, and activities specifically designed for your youth ages 12-18.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
Parking is free in the lots surrounding the conference center. There is also parking near your lodge and near the auditorium where we will meet for the main sessions.
WHAT MEALS ARE PROVIDED?
For those registered with meals, the conference kicks off with lunch on Monday at noon and dinner later that evening. There is breakfast, lunch, and dinner Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; the last meal is breakfast Friday morning. The complete menu will be posted once it is available. All meals are served family style in our main dining hall.
WHAT IF I’M GLUTEN FREE?
Our current menu is designed with you in mind and is largely gluten and nut free, with little dairy. We like to say it is “gluten-friendly” because we serve lots of salads and usually a main protein without gluten added. However, we cannot guarantee that it is completely gluten free.
I’M COMING BY MYSELF. WILL I BE ROOMING WITH OTHERS?
Yes. Our lodges have rooms that sleep 6. Due to the size of this conference, we will be filling each room with 5-6 people of the same sex. We do our best to accommodate the requests for roommates made at registration. It really helps our registrar if each roommate request matches up with one another. If the requests don’t match, we will accommodate at least one request.
I HAVE PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS. Are accommodations available?
We would be happy to accommodate you as best as we can. If you need assistance getting around the campus, just pick up a phone in your lodge, and we will have a conference center staff member pick you up in a cart.
WILL THE CONFERENCE BE LIVE STREAMED?
Yes. The main sessions will be streamed courtesy of Calvarychapel.com. Shortly after the conference, the main sessions will be archived on their website.
